What makes MPL50-Li different?
MPL50-Li is a true workshop focussed charger that has been designed for JLR workshops and vehicles. It fully supports all 12V battery technologies including Lithium LiFePO4 with dedicated charge modes and an advanced Lithium Contactor Reset mode for reactivating disabled or highly discharged LiFePO4 batteries.
When charging, all batteries go through Traction’s precision 3 stage charging process that ensures charging efficiency and protects the battery.
If you need to perform ECU Updates or diagnostics, you can use MPL50-Li as a power supply. When in SUPPORT mode, it provides a stable 13.4V 50A supply.

Frequently Asked Questions
MPL50-Li supports all 12V battery technologies including WET, AGM, GEL, Ca/Ca, Ca/Ag, EFB and Lithium LiFePO4.
When a Lithium LiFePO4 battery is highly discharged it goes into a protective state. MPL50-Li's Contactor Reset mode can reset the contactor allowing the battery to be recovered and charged.
No. The advanced 3 stage charging includes a float mode. Once the battery has been fully charged the float mode keeps the battery topped up so its ready to go when you are.
