xHVS-3000

Product details:

Receive detailed assessments of critical EV safety and high voltage systems, which if un-tested can lead to potential safety and equipment risks.

xHVS-3000 provides rapid safety inspections via the all-in-one EV charge port, reducing operation time and service complexity, whilst allowing quick identification of comprised vehicles. Designed to provide quick diagnostics, yet be simple to operate, xHVS can be plugged in like an EV charger would be and the supplied portable touchscreen device takes technicians through each step with simple to follow instructions.

To provide the most accurate diagnostics, each kit comes with the xHVS charge port inspection system, a smart probe and touchscreen device.

Immobilisation

Ensure that the vehicle will stay in place and reduce the risk of a ‘runaway’. When connecting to an EV charger the vehicle becomes immobilised to prevent damage to the charger and vehicle. xHVS uses this technology to ensure the vehicle cannot shift into drive or reverse when technicians are working on it.

Insulation Resistance Testing

Prevent electrical hazards during charging. Perform an in-depth safety check on the insulation integrity of the on-board charger, ensuring electrical isolation and preventing possible shocks, fires and system failures.
To perform this test, xHVS will measure the resistance between the AC and ground lines to determine if they meet safety thresholds.

AC Touch Current

Check for potentially dangerous AC current leakage around the vehicles critical systems. Faulty components or vehicle errors could lead to touch currents flowing through the vehicles user, posing risks of shock or injury.
xHVS can measure leakage current between the AC and ground lines and highlight any potential safety risks, allowing technicians to investigate any imbalances or grounding faults.

Ground Bond Test

Verify the grounding integrity of high voltage (HV) components, by measuring the resistance of the ground connection at the vehicle chassis and component connections. This is critical as poor grounding can lead to electric shock, fire or HV system malfunctions.
Using xHVS in combination with the smart probe you are able to check individuals components grounding integrity.
