JLR Approved 12V Emergency Starters
In June 2025, JLR announced via a bulletin, that they approved two new products for use by JLR Retailers, supporting jump starting of dead 12V batteries.
NOTE: JLR tooling and equipment standards will add this battery solution as mandatory however, both solutions are being added to the list as an option for retailers to purchase.
Projecta Intelli-Start IS2000
A highly powerful and extremely compact jump starter capable of starting 12V and 24V vehicles up to 8.0L Petrol and 7.0L Diesel. Approved and recommended solution for JLR Retailers.
Effortlessly jump start JLR vehicles. When connected to a 12V battery, Intelli-Start with automatically detect the battery’s voltage and alert you when the unit is ready. Press one button and the unit will provide the battery with up to 750A.
Designed to be used within and outside of the workshop, Intelli-Charge is suitable for jump starting of all JLR vehicles. The small footprint allows for easy transportation directly to the vehicles battery and the rubber moulded, impact resistant housing protects against any accidental drops. Fast and easy to recharge.
