Since the company’s founding in 1980, battery technology and vehicles have developed and improved dramatically. As vehicles became incrisingly complex and more powerful, the industry shifted from simpler lead-acid batteries to more advanced and powerful technologies. Traction evolved alongside these changes.

From the beginning, the Traction team have pushed to develop advanced charging solutions that make battery maintenance simple and effective. This commitment led to the creation of well known charger ranges such as the MPL range of chargers. These chargers have also been developed over the years to support new battery types and tackle issues such a sulphation with a dedicated, patented sulphation recovery mode. 

Since then, Traction have constantly innovated and quickly responded to new technologies and requirements. We work closely with the Traction team to provide Rotronics customers with their powerful chargers, but also provide customer support and repairs in our service centre.
