The 12v battery in EV’s is the Number 1 reason for roadside breakdowns. If an electric vehicle’s 12-volt battery dies, what happens? Just like in a conventionally powered vehicle, the power supply to many critical systems is compromised. If you don’t have control over functions inside the car like the ignition, you can’t initiate your propulsion system, even if the high-voltage battery pack contains a full charge. That’s because the inverter that converts the battery’s DC power to AC power that the motors need is powered by the 12-volt system.
Using the built in 500A load, xLVS-9000 analyzes the 12V Aux battery’s response while loading to accurately assess the remaining capacity of the battery and it’s ability to support critical vehicles systems.
xLVS -9000 represents a great opportunity for service centres to offer a valuable service to EV drivers by enabling proper servicing of the 12V battery to be safely and simply undertaken.

How does xLVS work?
Using the built in 500A load, xLVS-9000 analyses the 12V battery’s response while loading to accurately asses the remaining capacity of the battery and its ability to support critical EV vehicle systems. It can accurately estimate and measure the 12V auxiliary battery’s remaining functional capacity.
Rapid Diagnosis & Charging
Using the built in advanced technologies, xLVS can test the battery in 2 minutes or less. If the battery has been determined that charging is required xLVS will automatically commence charging using its built in 70A charger.
