Since our inception we have been based in Darlaston, Birmingham working under the Rubery Owen group, however at the start of 2023, Rubery Owen sold Rotronics to the newly formed Assesimus Group.
Assesimus required a new HQ and we decided that a new location to allow both Assesimus and Rotronics to expand was required. In May 2023 we found and secured our new base of operations in Tortworth, South Gloucestershire.
Designing our New Space
The move was an opportunity to design a whole new space. Working with the team, we designed and built a custom spaces for our teams to work in. This has included a large team space for collaboration and communication, comfortable offices and a purpose-built service centre.
Our service centre allows us to offer our customers a unique experience that isn’t available elsewhere. Our service centre has been built to make our service process as frictionless as possible.
The larger warehouse space also allows us to store more products, improving availability and increasing the brands and models we can stock.
New CTEK EV Configuration Centre
For over 3 years we have been supporting CTEK’s EV charging products in the UK by configuring each charger with specific CTEK software before being shipped to customers across the UK. In partnership with CTEK, we have built a custom configuration room to allow us to more efficiently configure and ship chargers across the UK.
New Team Members Hired
Without our hard working team we wouldn’t be able to provide the level of service that Rotronics is known for. Since moving we have hired 3 new team members including 2 new support staff and a dedicated technical support engineer/ROBIS expert to support our online and ROBIS activities.
During the past few months, we have been able to move our entire operation with little to no interruption to our customers and services, which we are very proud of. We are looking forward to the new opportunities that this move has given us. Keep up to date on LinkedIn and our news page.
