Built to support most modern vehicles, MPL10 is compatible with a wide range of Lead-Acid battery technologies including Lead-Acid, AGM, GEL and Ca/Ag types. Once connected to a battery, MPL10’s advanced charging algorithms automatically optimise voltage and current levels, ensuring the battery is charged to 100% as quickly as possible.

Before charging commences, the charger activates Traction’s patented desulphation technology, which helps to restore the lead plates by removing sulphation build up. This process allows the battery to charge more efficiently and improves overall battery performance and increases longevity.

To maximise efficiency and to keep your workshop moving, MPL10 has no complex menus to navigate or modes to select. You only have to switch the charge to the correct battery technology and connect the battery. The charger will handle the rest!

MPL 10 uses Traction’s advanced 3 stage charging process which improves charging efficiency, boosts battery health and ensures workshop and technician safety. Additionally, MPL10 has reverse polarity protection, soft start current control and proportional timing.

Patented Sulphation Recovery

Over time, the plates inside of Lead-Acid batteries will sulphate, which reduces battery capacity and can lead to battery failure. MPL10’s automatic sulphation recovery program will de-sulphate batteries before charging to improve charge efficiency and battery performance.

FAQ's

Can I leave the battery connected overnight or long term?

Yes. Once charging has completed, MPL10 automatically switches to a constant voltage or float/standby mode. This safely maintains the battery without the risk of overcharging.

What is the Sulphation Recovery System?

Over time sulphates build up on the battery's internal lead plates which can result in reduced battery capacity and premature battery failure. Before charging, MPL10 will apply a controlled pulse to the battery to break down these crystals so when it comes to charging, it can charge faster and it improves overall battery health and performance.

Is MPL10 suitable for both 12V and 24V charging?

Yes, but only if you purchase the 24V model. There is two models available a 12V version and a 24V version and they can only support those battery systems.
