MXS 5.0 is an advanced microprocessor controlled battery charger which gives unrivalled performance for lead acid batteries from 1.2-110Ah. It comes with automatic temperature compensation built in which ensures the best charging performance, even in the most extreme conditions.
MXS 5.0 also includes battery diagnosis to establish whether your battery can receive and retain a charge, patented automatic desulphation program, an AGM option which maximises the performance life of most Stop/Start batteries and a special Recond mode for reconditioning deeply discharged batteries.
Compatible with CTEK’s CONNECT accessory range you can make charging even easier with permanent battery connections, extensions and other accessories.
Main Features
Advanced Smart Charging
Fitted with the CTEK’ advanced 8 Step Smart charging, MXS 5.0 will automatically de-sulphate, charge and maintain your 12V battery without any intervention required. MXS 5 can also detect and alert you to any issues there may be with the battery, including: inability to be charge, hold charge and let you know if the battery is sulphated.
Simple to Operate
No complex menus to navigate or settings to adjust, simply connect MXS 5.0 to a 12V battery set the correct mode using the mode button and let the charger handle the rest! MXS 5.0 monitors battery health and will charge the battery as efficiently and safely as possible.
RECOND Mode
Sometimes, if left unmaintained for a long period of time, batteries can become deeply discharged and a usual charger won’t be able to revive it. RECOND mode has been specifically designed to recondition lead-acid batteries. Simply select RECOND mode and MXS 5.0 will bring the battery back to life and fully charge it!
