Representing the next generation of battery charging, NXT 5 is a compact, durable and intelligent battery charger, suitable for consumer and vehicle storage applications.
The 5A charger has CTEK’s 8-Step charging process built in, which makes 12V charging and maintenance effortless. To commence charging, simply connect the clamps to the battery terminals and select the relevant mode. Safely and efficiently, NXT 5 will charge your battery and then go into a float mode, keeping the battery in good condition until you need to use the vehicle.
Designed for versatility, NXT 5 supports the charging of most 12V battery types including: Lead-Acid, AGM, EFB, GEL and Lithium LiFePO4. Perfect for maintaining batteries fitted to cars, vans, motorcycles, boats and more. To avoid unneccersaity battery replacements, you can use the RECOND mode to bring deeply discharged Lead-Acid batteries back to life using CTEK’s advanced algorithms and monitoring.

Advanced Smart Charging
Using CTEK’s advanced 8 Step Charging process, your battery will be safely and efficiently charged without any intervention from the user. NXT 5 is also fitted with modern error alert diagnostics which will alert you if the there are any issues with the battery. This includes inability to receive a charge, inability to hold a charge and it will let you know if the battery is sulphated.
Lithium Charging
Gain the ability to charge any 12V automotive battery. On previous models such as MXS 5, you only had the ability to maintain Lead-Acid batteries. NXT 5 allows you to charge and maintain, 12V Lead-Acid batteries including AGM, EFB, GEL and now Lithium batteries including LiFePO4. Each battery types will be provided with a precise and highly calibrated charging profile.
Reconditioning Deeply Discharged Batteries
When batteries are left with little use and unmaintained for a long period of time, they will eventually become deeply discharged. A battery in this state is usually very difficult to revive however NXT 5 is fitted with CTEK’s advanced RECOND mode. Using advanced algorithms, NXT 5 will bring deeply discharged Lead-Acid batteries back to life.

Charging doesn’t have to be complex. NXT 5 balances powerful charging features with simplicity. From quick and easy mode selection to a host of CTEK CONNECT Accessories, NXT 5 is the ultimate maintenance charger. Keep an eye on charging status using the status LED’s and the Error lamp will keep you informed of any issues.
