As EV adoption increases, first responders, rescue teams, service personnel, and others working around electrified vehicles are encountering more EVs in emergency and service situations. Because EVs can remain quiet while powered and capable of movement, vehicle mobility-status may not always be obvious.

The xIM-100 helps reduce scene uncertainty, enhance scene control, and increase confidence by providing fast mobility-status indication and immobilization support through the EV Type 1 or Type 2 charge port.

Enhanced situational awareness:  Solid green indicates the EV is immobilized. Flashing RED indicates the EV is Not Immobilized, or indeterminate status, and users should take precautions.

Quick & Easy Immobilisation

When attending an emergency, time is of the essence, there’s no time to change modes and select settings. xIM-100 has no modes or settings, just plug the Type 1 or Type 2 connector into the vehicle’s charging port for the vehicle to automatically immobilise.

Designed for practicality, xIM-100 features an IP66 and IP67 water and dust protection rating allowing it to be used in any weather conditions. If the immobiliser gets dropped, the no roll design ensures it doesn’t roll away and the integrated pry bar allows you to access charging ports even if the cover is locked.

Instantly know if the vehicle is safe to work on. The ultra bright LED’s shine bright and they will illuminate green for safe/immobilised and red for vehicle not immobilised, proceed with caution.
