EXP-1000 Trade-In Promotion — Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

This offer is open to owners of Midtronics EXP-1000 series testers, including the FHD and other EXP-1000 variants, in the UK and Ireland only.

2. How it works

• Dealers must submit a PO to order the CPX-900.
• Rotronics will ship the new CPX-900.
• The dealer’s existing EXP-1000 unit must then be sent to Rotronics at Unit 18, Tortworth Business Park, Tortworth, South Gloucestershire, GL12 8HQ for inspection.
• Once verified, the dealer will receive confirmation of the £200 discount, which will be applied to their invoice.

3. Condition requirements

• The EXP-1000 must be in full working order, powering on and completing a standard test cycle, to qualify for the full £200 discount.
• Units that are faulty, damaged beyond normal wear, or non-functional may qualify for a reduced discount or will not qualify. This is at Rotronics’ discretion.
• Rotronics reserves the right to refuse a trade-in unit that does not meet the minimum working condition and to return it to the dealer at the dealer’s cost.

4. Shipping

• Dealers are responsible for shipping the EXP-1000 to Rotronics.
• Dealers must send their EXP-1000 tester to Rotronics within 10 working days of receiving the new CPX-900. If the EXP-1000 is not received within this window, the dealer will be charged the full price of the CPX-900.
• Dealers sending their own unit are responsible for its safe packaging and for retaining proof of postage; Rotronics is not liable for units lost or damaged in transit to us.

5. Discount terms

• The £200 discount applies only to the purchase of a new CPX-900 and cannot be exchanged for cash, applied to other products, or combined with other active promotions.
• The discount is applied once the trade-in unit has passed inspection; if the unit fails inspection, standard pricing will apply and the dealer will be notified.
• If the EXP-1000 is not received within 10 working days of the CPX-900 being delivered, the £200 discount is forfeited and the dealer will be invoiced for the full price of the CPX-900.
• The discount is applied per matched unit, up to £200 per CPX-900, limited to whichever is lower: the number of EXP-1000s sent in or the number of CPX-900s ordered. For example, sending in two EXP-1000s but ordering only one CPX-900 qualifies for £200 off that one unit, not £400. Ordering two CPX-900s but sending in only one EXP-1000 also qualifies for £200 off one unit only, with the second CPX-900 charged at full price.

6. Ownership

• Once received by Rotronics, the EXP-1000 becomes the property of Rotronics and will not be returned, unless it fails the inspection criteria in section 3.

7. Timescales

• The trade-in EXP-1000 must be returned within 10 working days of the dealer receiving the CPX-900, or full price will be charged (see section 5).

8. General

• Rotronics reserves the right to amend or withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice.
• This offer is subject to stock availability of the CPX-900.
• Rotronics’ standard sales terms and conditions apply in all other respects.
