2025 has been an exciting and busy year for the Rotronics team. From a successful rebrand to launching brand new innovative products and celebrating racing wins, it certainly has been eventful.
Let’s take a look back at the highlights of 2025.
New Products
In 2025, we were thrilled to announce 8 brand new products from both Midtronics and CTEK.
Swipe through our product launches below…
12V & 24V Battery Maintenance
CX PRO 100-2
The ultimate charger for all professional battery maintenance applications. Featuring a dual output design, CX PRO 100-2 can support both 12V and 24V battery setups and is suitable for aftermarket service centres, truck & bus workshops and stock maintenance. The charger supports all 12V battery types, including Lithium LiFePO4, and is available with a range of accessories such as LED Beacons for seeing charge status across the workshop.
Booster PAcks
RB Boosters
This year, CTEK also announced a brand new product category. The RB Booster Packs are high-performance premium, portable booster packs designed to get vehicles started when faced with a dead 12V battery. The RB range is starting with 2 packs the RB 3000 (3000A peak battery current) and RB 4000 (4000A peak battery current).
EV Safety
xIM-100
After an accident, Electric Vehicles have been known to ‘runaway’, which poses major risks for people surrounding the vehicle. EV Runaway happens when the vehicle isn’t properly secured like it would be when in park and the vehicle can unintentionally move even without driver input. In emergency situations, EV Runaway can result in major injury. xIM-100 combats this issue by quickly and easily immobilising the vehicle using the EV’s Type 1 or 2 EV Port.
EV Safety Diagnostics
xHVS-3000
Provide detailed assessments of critical EV safety and high voltage systems, which if un-tested can lead to potential safety and equipment risks. Using the EV charge port and the supplied Smart Probe, you can immobilise the vehicle, perform an Insulation Resistance Test, AC Current Test and Ground Bond Test.
Pro-Consumer Charging
NXT Range
CTEK’s brand new NXT range has been designed to provide consumers with professional level features at a affordable price. Previously Lithium charging and the power supply mode has been reserved for CTEK’s professional charging range, but with NXT this changes. In November, CTEK announced 2 new NXT chargers, the NXT 5, a 5A variant and the NXT 15, the 15A version.
Exhbiting at 2 Trade Shows
Trade shows allow us to connect with both existing and potential customers in person. This gives us the opportunity to give visitors a hands-on experience with our products and allow us to gain an understanding of how our solutions can make a large impact within visitors businesses.
This year, we exhibited at 2 major industry trade shows. In June we exhibited at Automechanika held at Birmingham’s NEC alongside 550 other brands from all aspects of the automotive industry. In November we attended Mechanex, the UK’s go-to tradeshow for the aftermarket.
New Website Launched
In April, we were delighted to unveil our brand new website alongside a refreshed brand identity. We wanted to build a site that gives our customers an easy way to explore our solutions and also have a platform to provide industry professionals with the knowledge to ensure battery performance and longevity.
Our site was rebuilt and reimagined from the ground up. The new site features comprehensive product pages, effortless navigation, a dedicated knowledge hub and easy access to our resources and contact with our experts. Alongside the website launch, we revamped our brand with a vibrant new green colour that aligns with our forward-thinking approach.
Lewis Wins the Focus Cup for the Third Year Running
Throughout the year, our Technical Service Manager, Lewis, had been competing in the Focus Cup. Over the last few years, Lewis had been competing in a lower class but this year he was competing in the higher class, against fierce competition and in a faster Focus ST. The cup took him to circuits all over the country and after some tough and close racing, he managed to secure the 2025 Focus Cup Championship.
Three Award Nominations
We were delighted to share that Rotronics received three award nominations this year. The nominations included the Small Business of the Year award and the Innovation award from the South West Business of the Year Awards and the Battery Management Company of the Year Award from Corporate Live. In November, our team attended the South West Business of the Year Awards at Bristol’s Harbour Hotel. Whilst we didn’t take away an award, we were thrilled to make it through to the final list and attend the event.
The Corporate Live, Battery Management Company of the Year award is still to be announced, so keep your eyes pealed on our LinkedIn to see if we win!
Thank you!
Overall, 2025 has been a productive and momentous year for Rotronics and we thank all of our customers, suppliers and partners for your support. We look forward to continuing our relationship as we go into 2026.
